In traditional Chinese medicine, we follow the theory that the energy of the body flows in channels that start or end at the extremities and work towards the core. Acupuncture is the practice of inserting needles in points along the channel to activate or tonify the qi in order to restore health.

Carolyn Smyth, Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, is a licensed acupuncturist and owner of South Park Natural Medicine and Warrior Within Wellness. She holds both MS and DACM degrees in the field of Chinese Medicine.
